How to Fix Unassigned Traffic in GA4?
For example, if you’re using a QR code to link to your website and promoting it through a traditional print ad, ensure that the UTM parameters are integrated correctly. You can enhance your URL by adding parameters, such as https://www.xyz.com?utm_source=qr_code&utm_medium=referral. This specific URL parameter informs GA4 that the source is a referral, and the medium is the QR code. By using this URL parameter, Google Analytics will correctly assign traffic from the QR code to the Referral channel, allowing you to track the number of sessions generated by the QR code within the Referral default channel.
